Job Summary As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You collaborate with store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations. Salary and Schedule Your starting hourly pay rate: $15.00 to $17.00 per hour, based on skills and experience. Paid training: live hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training. Voluntary benefits: medical, dental, vision, and other. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases. Part‑Time position with a variable schedule. Average weekly hours: 13–14 hours per week. Availability before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required. Support for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support. Responsibilities Day‑to‑day engagement: Use the mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products. Submit time reports, feedback, and surveys. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers. Manage Hallmark product display at assigned stores. Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours during key holiday periods (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). Work may occur on the holiday itself, including weekends. Department resets: Participate in installations, relocating Hallmark fixtures, and resetting card sections. Assigned at least two weeks in advance; may include evenings or weekends. Team support: Assist other merchandisers in the network as needed. Physical Requirements Job requires high energy and urgency. Work on sales floor and in back stockrooms. Must push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds on occasion. Must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day; may need to climb stairs and steps. Basic Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. Read, write, and understand English. Lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally. Operate a digital handheld device. Access Wi‑Fi and internet. Access reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores.
