NetSuite Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a NetSuite Administrator based in the United States.

This is a fully remote opportunity to take ownership of a critical enterprise resource planning environment and help scale business operations through technology.
You'll manage, optimize, and enhance NetSuite across multiple business functions, balancing technical expertise with strong business understanding.
The role combines hands-on administration, integrations, data management, reporting, user enablement, and process improvement.
You'll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
Your work will directly support data integrity, operational efficiency, system adoption, and the organization's continued growth.

Accountabilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and performance of the NetSuite ERP environment.
• Create, maintain, and optimize custom records, fields, lists, forms, workflows, dashboards, and saved searches based on business requirements.
• Administer NetSuite OneWorld environments, including multi-subsidiary and multi-currency configurations and Multi-Book Accounting.
• Support and troubleshoot third-party integrations, including configuring new integrations, managing access tokens, and maintaining required system settings.
• Work with middleware platforms such as Boomi, Celigo, Workato, or similar tools to support reliable data flows between NetSuite and connected systems.
• Manage NetSuite data imports and exports, including CSV-based uploads and updates, while maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
• Support NetSuite modules and functionality including Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations, and Advanced Revenue Management, including custom revenue recognition rules.
• Define and maintain user roles and permissions, including the creation and optimization of custom roles.
• Provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot system issues, analyze error messages, and deliver training that improves user adoption and effective system usage.
• Partner with teams across the organization to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement system enhancements that improve scalability and productivity.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and conduct regular data audits to ensure consistent, accurate, and compliant information.
• Create and maintain reports, saved searches, dashboards, and other analytical tools that support business decision-making and internal controls.
• Manage the progression of technical requests from testing and validation in sandbox environments through controlled deployment into production.
• Evaluate opportunities for automation and continuous improvement while ensuring changes are well tested, documented, and aligned with business needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience, including strong expertise with OneWorld, multi-subsidiary and multi-currency environments, and Multi-Book Accounting.
• Demonstrated experience administering NetSuite modules such as Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliations, and Advanced Revenue Management.
• Strong knowledge of NetSuite ARM and experience configuring custom revenue recognition rules.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite CSV imports and exports for data uploads, updates, and ongoing data management.
• Experience working with middleware or integration platforms such as Boomi, Celigo, Workato, or similar technologies.
• Proven ability to configure and support NetSuite integrations, including creating integrations, managing access tokens, and configuring system settings.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite roles and permissions, including the creation and maintenance of custom roles.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues, interpret system errors, troubleshoot integrations, and optimize system performance.
• Experience designing and optimizing NetSuite workflows, saved searches, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, or business intelligence platforms.
• Strong understanding of technical development and release processes, including moving solutions from sandbox testing through production deployment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with confidence working across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple requests, manage deadlines, and drive initiatives through completion.
• A NetSuite Administrator Certification is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce Billing and its integration with NetSuite, Avalara sales tax integrations, and SuiteScript is advantageous.
• SuiteScript experience, including creating, troubleshooting, and modifying scripts, is a plus.
