Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients by reviewing their medical history and performing targeted assessments to determine treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Clearly communicate evaluation findings and proposed treatment plans to patients and their families, ensuring active participation in goal setting. Implement treatment protocols effectively, utilizing evidence-based practices while adapting to the evolving healthcare landscape. Collaborate with other healthcare team members when necessary, recognizing and documenting any changes in patients' conditions that necessitate modifications in their plans of care. Manage discharge planning comprehensively, ensuring follow-up care aligns with patient needs; maintain accurate and timely documentation for all patient interactions. Exercise strong time management skills, ensuring that productivity standards are met while contributing to community outreach and marketing efforts. Support departmental objectives by taking part in strategic development initiatives and adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards. Actively seek out continuing education opportunities to enhance your professional expertise, while also serving as a mentor to incoming students during their clinical rotations. Strive to create an exceptional patient experience by remaining adaptable and responsive to individual needs. Engage in initiatives aimed at overcoming barriers to access, utilizing CSI measurement data to enhance service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus In your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions, focusing on both rehabilitation and prevention. Your initiatives will encompass personalized treatment protocols designed to restore function and mobility, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes. Qualifications Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. Valid state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, exhibiting proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, complemented by familiarity with the latest rehabilitation techniques and therapies. Involvement in community-oriented programs or health promotion activities is advantageous, showcasing a commitment to holistic patient care. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
