Job Title: Teacher St. James Regional Catholic Elementary School is looking to hire a part‑time Spanish teacher for the 2026‑27 school year. The teacher will be responsible for instruction for grades Pre K‑8. The ideal candidate will create lesson plans, support language development and foster a learning environment that promotes speaking, reading, writing and a cultural understanding. Job Status Permanent / Part Time Contact Mrs. Colleen McManus, Principal E‑Mail View email address on click.appcast.io Key Responsibilities Teach Spanish language courses to students at assigned grade or proficiency levels Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards Encourage student participation through interactive activities and conversation practice Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and classroom participation Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles Communicate with parents, staff, and administration regarding student progress when needed Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enhance language learning Foster positive relationships with students while modeling Christian values and respectful behavior. Support the school's Catholic mission and participate in school activities as appropriate. Maintain confidentiality regarding students and school matters.
