Work Location Mythic is headquartered in Charlotte, NC; highly qualified candidates may be considered for fully remote roles. Mythic employees are expected to work from 9:00am-5:30pm EST, but may also require evenings and weekends as client needs dictate. Must be authorized to work in the US without corporate assistance. Job Summary The Social Media Manager will be a key part of Mythic’s growing Social Media Team. This role is responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, overseeing content creation, and analyzing performance to optimize engagement and impact across Mythic’s clients. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, creatives, and strategists to bring brands to life across platforms. Duties / Responsibilities Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with our clients’ brand and marketing goals, including content strategy, content creation, posting, community management, analytics, and reporting Identify and capitalize on real-time trends that present social media opportunities for the agency and its clients Stay ahead of industry trends, platform updates, and best practices to inform strategy recommendations Plan and manage content calendars across multiple social platforms, including posting schedules, ensuring timely execution, and monitoring emerging trends Collaborate with account, strategy, and creative teams to develop compelling social media content while ensuring brand consistency across platforms Ensure creative assets are tailored for each platform, adhere to best practices and paid/promoted post requirements, and have undergone a thorough QA process Track and analyze social media performance across platforms, providing actionable insights to optimize content and engagement strategies Support the social media team with content creation as needed Required Skills / Abilities 3-4 years of experience in organic social media management Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and their best practices Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later) and analytics platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Data-driven mindset with a strong desire to understand the “why” behind performance metrics Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to evolving trends Passion for social media and fostering online communities Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Adobe, Canva, CapCut) Nice to Have Agency experience Experience with influencer partnerships and UGC campaigns Experience collaborating with paid media teams to align organic and paid strategies Experience with paid social management Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or related experience Physical Requirements Sedentary work that primarily involves prolonged periods of sitting at a desk Light work that could include carrying 5 poundsKeyboarding Mythic provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
