Position Overview Shuttle Ambassador – No Driving Morning Shift 7:30 am – 6:30 pm Schedule: 4 days on, 3 days off (to be discussed in final interview) Location: Las Vegas, NV – Onsite (No Remote or Hybrid) Starting Salary: $17 per hour (pay differential may apply) Position Summary The Shuttle Ambassador provides onboard support and guidance to guests accessing essential services through the shuttle transportation service. The Ambassador assists guests during transit, answers questions, and helps maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. The Ambassador reports to the Shift Supervisor and helps guests connect to medical care, social services, housing resources, and employment opportunities. The Ambassador does not operate or drive the vehicle; a designated driver performs vehicle operation. Key Responsibilities Provide guest transportation services. Act as an onboard ambassador on the shuttle vehicle, supporting guests during transit. Adhere to an established route and schedule, ensuring timely pickups and drop‑offs. Aid guests with disabilities or mobility challenges as needed. Greet guests politely and provide guidance on available services. Maintain a calm and respectful environment during transport, intervening in conflicts when necessary. Communicate openly with staff regarding guest concerns or special needs. Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance issues. Follow all emergency procedures in case of accidents, breakdowns, or medical emergencies. Maintain accurate records of trips and guest transport logs. Communicate route adjustments, guest issues, or program improvements to Shift Supervisors. Assist in other transportation‑related duties as needed. Support general operations at the site as directed by Shift Supervisors. Participate in staff meetings and required training sessions. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in passenger transport, social services, or homeless services preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing homelessness. Knowledge of local resources and service providers is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary.
