Full time - 40 hours a week - Caseload of 24

Salary

• Psychotherapist I: $61,500 -$65,500
• Psychotherapist II: $73,000 - $78,000

A $5,000 hiring bonus may apply for this position to qualified candidates!

If applied, the bonus will be paid out in four equal quarterly installments following your hire date, rewarding your continued commitment and impact with our team.

Benefits

If approved, you can receive up to $50,000 toward your student loans for your first two years and up to $20,000 for each year after, subject to program eligibility and funding.

• Professional Development: Continuing education stipend, 24 hours of continuing education leave, and monthly CEUs offered through in-service training and annual conference.

Two Levels, One Team

• Psychotherapist I: You hold a master’s degree or higher and have completed your clinical trainee internship, but you do not have your license yet. You are actively pursuing independent licensure in Minnesota, and we will support you along the way with reflective clinical supervision.
• Psychotherapist II: You are already licensed and ready to carry your own caseload, with ongoing access to clinical supervision and reflective practice built into our culture.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide psychotherapy services to 16+ individuals, couples, group, and/or family modalities, serving a broad and diverse range of client populations within community mental health.
2. Maintain accurate, timely client records consistent with Hamm Clinic policy and the standards of governing regulatory bodies.
3. Carry out clinical duties and caseload responsibilities as assigned.
4. Contribute to the life of the agency through participation in committees.
5. Join weekly multidisciplinary team consultation, along with other clinical and administrative meetings as needed, to keep care connected and clinicians supported.
6. Advance culturally responsive, equitable care across the organization.
7. Provide trauma-informed care in a community mental health setting.
8. Engage in reflective clinical supervision that strengthens quality of care and guards against secondary and vicarious trauma.
9. Coordinate care effectively across disciplines to deliver high-quality, integrated services.
10. Where clinically appropriate, offer targeted resource referrals to help clients navigate systemic barriers, keeping the therapeutic relationship at the center.
11. Uphold the highest legal, ethical, and professional standards as mandated by your profession and by local, state, and federal law.
12. Depending on program needs and clinician interest, this role may include a limited off-site component, typically up to 15–20% of the role, delivering services in partnership with community organizations and bringing care directly into the settings where clients live and receive support.
13. Take on additional responsibilities that arise based on need, interest, expertise, and availability.

What You Bring

•      A master’s degree or higher in a field qualified to provide psychotherapy (MSW, MS, MA, PhD, PsyD)

•      Experience providing individual psychotherapy

•      Fluency in English and Spanish

•      Cultural humility and an intersectional lens

•      Comfort with documentation and third-party payor billing requirements

•      Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and OneDrive

•      Social workers: LGSW, LICSW, LAMFT, LMFT, Pre-licensed LPCC, LPCC or LP licensure in Minnesota is required.
