About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Association Banking with a focus on the community association industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities by offering industry-specific banking services and products, as well as servicing existing clients. This role involves a significant amount of travel, including cold calling, sales presentations, and attending industry trade show events. The VP will also be tasked with marketing to prospects, following up with clients on customer service items, and promoting the company's offerings. A key aspect of the position is to support the director in meeting deposit and lending goals, grow client relationships, and cross-sell products and services. Applicants for the Vice President position should have a minimum of 3 years' of related experience, with a high school diploma required and a Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. The role demands an individual with intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, and commercial banking products and services. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and efficiently from a home office. The VP will be expected to manage marketing, entertainment, and advertising expenses, and run sales ads in trade publications. The position also involves participating in remote training, attending sales meetings, and managing the solicitation of loans to community associations.
