Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Comprehensive Medical Unit Location Zanesville, OH | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care primarily on a Comprehensive Medical Unit (3 West) Float as needed between various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation Monitor and interpret telemetry readings accurately; competency will be assessed on day one Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR — proficiency is mandatory from day one Deliver care during day shift with every other weekend rotation; no on-call requirement Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact equivalent Active BLS certification required Minimum 3 years of current/recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience Demonstrated Epic EMR proficiency required — must be documented at time of submission; no on-site training or refresher classes will be provided Must be able to pass a telemetry competency assessment on the first day of assignment Preferred Experience / Skills Experience across multiple Med-Surg subspecialties such as Oncology, Cardiac, or Stroke Prior travel nursing experience in a similar acute care setting Why Join Us Opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-specialty medical unit with exposure to a variety of patient populations No call requirement provides a predictable and manageable schedule Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776172.
