Business Analyst

a "start-up" company located in Morgantown, WV . They are looking for a Business Analyst on a 4 - 6 month contract-to-hire basis.

This will be a hybrid position requiring consultant be in office an average of 1 or 2 days per week. Only USC, GC and EAD holders will be considered. Candidates do not have to be local (i.e. Pittsburgh based candidate would be fine).

Position: Business Analyst

Role: Collect & analyze data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, then translating those insights into actionable recommendations to optimize operations, drive growth, and inform strategic decision-making,


while collaborating closely with different departments within the company to ensure alignment with overall business goals.

Responsibilities: Elicit requirements, understand the underlying goals & prioritize a development path that achieves the greatest amount of value. This will include juggling the needs of multiple stakeholders, documenting requirements and some testing.


As well as reviewing what was created to verify it works as intended and achieves the value expected.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of Business Analysis experience
• Experience working with Startup (or a relatively young, rapidly growing company)
• Experience focusing on Analyzing Data, Risk Assessment & Optimizing Processes
• Must have a high degree of flexibility and adaptability (as well as be capable & willing to "think out of the box")
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
• Must be detail oriented and have strong organizational skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of software applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of management & company personnel
