Supply Chain Network Scheduler

Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Network Scheduler to work at our Los Angeles, CA facility. The role focuses on the 0‑3 month execution horizon, owning short‑term product availability and exception management for finished goods and semi‑finished goods within value streams where supply and demand are imbalanced. The expected annual salary range for this role is $112,000 – $164,000. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations. The Scheduler is the primary face of supply for a given value stream, handling capacity and material constraint escalations, leveraging scenario planning, and ensuring collaboration between demand and supply stakeholders. This role reports to the Network Planner. What you’ll do: Develop timely and accurate plans for finished products at the assigned level of the supply network and for short‑term finished goods availability within the 0 to 12 weeks horizon. Manage all exceptions in the short‑term horizon and collaborate with teams across the Eaton network and external vendors to identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions. Create the Master Production Schedule (MPS). Coordinate the Center of Excellence resources (buyers, planners, production schedulers) to deliver the MPS plan. Interface with operations to drive schedule adherence. Report and analyze key performance indicators to drive supply network improvements in cash, cost, and customer service results. Ensure a feasible plan to minimize demand at risk and maximize customer service level while remaining within inventory and cost targets. Collaborate effectively with multiple functions to drive improvements across the end‑to‑end supply chain. Manage all exceptions in the 0‑12 week horizon, collaborate on root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions. Ensure capacity shortages are addressed or escalated. Evaluate and share the impact of material exceptions on the short‑term FG plan with material planners. Monitor customer on‑time service level and inventory exceptions in the short term. Participate in decision making and movement of slow‑moving inventory within the value stream. Monitor planning parameters accuracy by conducting periodic audits and updating ERP as needed. Act as the primary point of contact for product availability in the value stream. Stay close to demand information to react quicker to changes. Own escalations, bringing them to conclusion in cooperation with material planners, buyers, and production schedulers. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Minimum of three (3) years combined professional experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment. Applicant must be a U.S. person as defined for export‑controlled information. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering from an accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years experience in supply chain management. CPIM certification. Skills: Deep functional understanding of supply chain processes: procurement, SIOP, Materials Management, demand planning and forecasting, end‑to‑end planning, master production scheduling, capacity analysis, inventory management. Working understanding of MRP. Ability to adapt to and achieve results in a complex environment. Influential and collaborative, able to challenge the status quo to solve complex challenges. Strong relationship‑building at all levels. Ability to use data to generate scenarios and drive decision‑making.
