Family Nurse Practitioner

Overview Full-Time Family Nurse Practitioner – Selma, Alabama. $5,000 sign‑on bonus is offered. The role provides patient‑focused care in an urgent care environment, including primary medical care, telemedicine and occupational medicine services. Responsibilities Diagnose and treat upper respiratory illnesses (cold, flu, strep, COVID, etc.). Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal, foreign object removal, suturing and splinting. Provide general orthopedic evaluation and management. Review x‑rays (to be over‑read by a radiologist). Address general dermatology and eye problems. Interpret general EKGs. Apply emergency management skills. Provide general gynecological care. Treat children of all ages. Conduct occupational medicine services. Deliver telemedicine patient encounters. Schedule Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rotating schedule (every other weekend): Week 1: Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). Week 2: Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF). Qualifications Family Nurse Practitioner board certification. MSN or higher education; new graduates welcomed. DOT certification preferred or willingness to obtain at company expense. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
