PGS Worldwide is seeking a Drafter in Elkton, MD for an approximately 6-month onsite contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will create and revise 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models for product, tooling, and testing components and assemblies.
Required Skills- 5 years of experience in CAD drafting and modeling
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling
- Experience with 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
- Experience with drafting
- Proficiency with Siemens NX CAD
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter
- U.S. citizenship required
- Experience applying GD&T
- Knowledge of ASME standards
- Plan, lay out, draw, and revise detailed part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings.
- Create 2D CAD drawings and 3D CAD models for product, tooling, and testing components and assemblies.
- Complete details of major layout drawings prepared by others using standard engineering drafting practices.
- Determine scaling and add reference planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning.
- Prepare specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations.
- Prepare complete production detail drawings.
- Contribute design modifications to improve product quality or facilitate manufacturing operations.

- Approximately 7:30/8:00 AM to 5:00/5:30 PM
