Sleep Medicine Physician Assistant

Alpha Medical Partners

An established sleep medicine practice in Austin, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their team. This would be a full-time position with either a 4 or 5 day work week (32 or 40 hours). Monday-Friday schedule, NO weekend requirements. ONE day per week will be from home (telehealth). Ideal candidates will have at least 1-2 years of sleep medicine experience.
Responsibilities

Work alongside a board certified physician and team of APPs in clinic
Common diagnoses include sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, snoring, night terrors, etc.
Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including vital signs and medical history
Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Document all patient interactions accurately

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of sleep medicine
Texas State License
Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on enhancing the overall well-being of individuals
