Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing and evaluating surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab data
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
• Provide vital intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring correct patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during procedures
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical focus is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
