Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings and craft personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy strategies that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation experts as part of a comprehensive care approach
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and at-home exercises
• Maintain precise documentation of initial evaluations, treatment processes, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings and care rounds to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable degree from a recognized program

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• Specialized certifications (such as in geriatric or neurological therapy) are advantageous but not mandatory

Skills

• Strongly preferred prior experience in physical therapy
