Responsibilities Assists with the management of all aspects of Store operations including customer service, store condition and the selection, training, supervising, and performance management of Store Sales Associates Assists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to store Collaborates with team members to ensure the store meets or exceeds the established merchandising standards for product quality, presentation and visual marketing/merchandising Keep up with reporting to support sales, earnings, and minimizing shrink Assumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager Requirements Two (2) or more years of grocery or retail management experience Hands-on leadership experience in grocery retail (e.g. Produce, Deli/Bakery, or Meat/Seafood departments) is highly preferred but not required.
