Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 32-bed labor and delivery unit with patient ratios of 1:2.
• Collaborate with nursing team including charge and co-charge nurses for seamless shift transitions.
• Perform and circulate during C-Sections and manage TOLAC cases effectively.
• Utilize fetal monitoring equipment including Novii and JADA systems.
• Document patient information accurately in Meditech EMR.
• Adhere to all unit policies, including the attendance policy.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Texas or compact license holder.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications are required.
• Proficient in electronic fetal monitoring and SVE competency.
• 2+ years of nursing experience in a labor and delivery setting.
• Competency in internal monitor placement is advantageous.
• Experience in a Level IV high-volume unit preferred.
