Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging to provide critical insights into patient health.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures by thoroughly explaining each stage with empathy and clarity.
• Work closely with radiologists and healthcare providers to guarantee the integrity and quality of diagnostic imagery.
• Skillfully manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues.
• Document accurate procedure details and maintain patient files within our electronic medical record system.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques to enhance service delivery.

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline.
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program.

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a comparable credential.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
