Overview Description: Starting Salary: $25 / hour and up. Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, dedicating time to get to know customers and build lasting relationships by providing trusted advice. Responsibilities Provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions, supporting spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs using strong communication and problem-solving skills. Get to know customers’ personal financial goals and Recommend tailored solutions to help achieve them (e.g., planning for the future, buying a home, opening a new credit card). Introduce customers to digital and mobile-first banking through the app and ATMs. Collaborate with Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking partners to assist customers with more complex financial needs. Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments, recognizing when a fit may change over time. Adhere to all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws and regulations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Prior banking experience required 2 years of sales and customer service experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals Ability to ask questions and identify customer needs to strengthen relationships Proven success in building relationships and recommending/referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support business goals Aptitude for problem solving and providing solutions to customer issues Team-oriented with ability to collaborate with teammates, business partners and specialists Self-motivated, confident, and able to multitask effectively Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings Meet and comply with SAFE Act requirements, including successful completion of pre-employment screening and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS Qualified candidates may complete a video interview assessment after applying as the next step, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link. Actual pay is based on various factors including, but not limited to, the budget, work location, and relevant skills and experience.
