Manufacturing Quality Inspector
This position is for a manufacturing business that makes small precision machined parts.
This position works 6:00 – 4:30 M-Th.
Responsibilities
- Inspect manufactured parts for visual, dimensional, & functional requirements
- Verify machine setup sample parts
- Document inspection findings on reports & records
- Communicate with others on technical matters
- Check packaging, labeling, material handling, & storage
Qualifications
- Proficiency measuring & testing with various precision measuring instruments
- Read & interpret technical drawings (including GD&T)
- Follow test procedures & work instructions
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Experience creating reports
- Promote process improvement
- Ability to analyze information
- Good written & verbal communication on technical matters
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, & Outlook
- Ability to inspect small precision parts visually with & without magnification
