1031 Exchange Coordinator

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The 1031 Exchange Coordinator will be responsible for tracking and maintaining exchange files and coordinating all real estate closings ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Document Preparation: Partner with customers and title closers to draft exchange paperwork .
- Closing Compliance: Review settlement statements and purchase contracts for tax-rule alignment .
- Timeline Tracking: Monitor strict statutory deadlines for 1031 exchange completion.
- Client Advisory: Guide customers on complex exchange taxation rules under management supervision.
- Financial Control: Track and account for all incoming transactional exchange fees.
- Real Estate Knowledge: Experience with transactions and closing processes is highly valued .
- Transferable Skills: Legal or accounting backgrounds translate directly into this compliance role .
- Regulatory Focus : Ability to learn, interpret, and apply technical tax regulations .
