Area ManagerSalary: $80,000 + benefitsClassification: ExemptScope of Position: The Area Manager will manage daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure service delivery consistency across multiple locations, while maintaining alignment with workforce development goals. This position is responsible for the overall coordination and performance of program services and ensuring that contract regulations are adhered to.Essential Functions:Establish professional working relationships with program partnersAttend required meetings and apprise staff of discussions held at these meetingsAddress human resource and staff concernsEnsure that staff and program resources are being utilized appropriatelyProvide a positive vision for required changes during program operationUtilize positive communication techniques to resolve issuesDay-to-day management of office operationsFacilitate weekly staff meetings and supervise check-insMonitor program budgets and expenditures, and provide input to Finance team regarding program fiscal mattersReview and approve purchase orders, expense reports, audit paperwork, process changes, and staff schedulesDirectly supervise designated staffMonitor progress toward contractual performance targets, develop solutions for performance issues, and prepare performance reportsAddress customer complaints/issues/concerns as neededConduct interviews and make recommendations for the hiring of new staff as neededEnsure that staff understand and adhere to company and program policiesCollaborate with collocated partner agency staff and assist with coordination of onsite services and events, customer referrals, and adherence to any facility policies and proceduresOther opportunities as availableEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and 5–10 years of relevant leadership experiencePrevious management experience desiredShould have skills and experience in providing career development assistanceA working knowledge of Microsoft Office productsMust have experience in a team-oriented environmentShould be able to converse with a wide range of professionals and demonstrate a positive professional attitudeValid driver's license and clean driving record requiredEDSI is an equal opportunity employer.
