Correctional Lpn
The Amergis Staffing Team is looking to hire on site LPNs
Position Details
- Position: Correctional LPN
- Flexibility: Day Shifts Available
- Requirement: 1+ year of recent LPN and psychiatric/behavioral/correctional experience required
- Benefits: Weekly pay, Flexible Shifts, Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K
- Travel Pay Available: Equating roughly +$40/hr
The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and children in custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in the Medical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintaining facility security standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Possesses a current Practical Nursing License in the applicable state
- Minimum of one year experience in Corrections preferred
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
