Junior Quality Control Inspector

We specialize in Tool & Die stamping, with in-house Die making, EDM, CNC milling, and CNC lathe capabilities. Most of our work is with the aerospace industry. We are AS9100D certified. Position: Full-time Junior Quality Inspector Schedule: Alternative Workweek Schedule - Hours are Monday - Thursday, 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Responsibilities: Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor or machine operator. Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs. Maintain measurement equipment by following operating instructions and calibration requirements, and calling for repairs when needed. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations. Support production and other internal departments as a team member of the Quality department to further the company's interests. Qualifications: Previous experience in quality control or related fields Strong attention to detail Analytical and critical thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Basic computer and math skills for calibration and measurement Blueprint reading skills Ability to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, and calipers Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus Conversational Spanish is a plus Note: This job posting is active and accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr D W Mack Co Inc
