South Bay based manufacturing company has an exciting opening for a Customer Service Rep with experience in Shipping/Dispatching and comfortable in a Metal Machine Shop environment!
The general responsibility of the job is to provide excellent customer service via phone and email.
This is a contract to hire position with a target salary of $19.00-$22.00/hour Depending on Experience. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
Essential Duties:
· Answering phones and emails in a professional and timely manner
· Providing product/service information to customer as needed
· Processing orders and shipping requirements for clients
· Preparing shipping labels
· Managing and scheduling shipping of products
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service and/or shipping/dispatching
· Excellent verbal and written communication
· Must be comfortable with computers
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Transferable Skills or Experience:
· Has worked in Customer Service for White Cap or similar Wholesale B2B Distributor
· Has worked in Customer Service for United Rental or Rental Yard Services
