RAD Engineers has three senior-level openings on active NYC infrastructure projects — and we\'re moving fast. These are full-time, on-site positions based in New York City supporting MTA Construction & Development bridge and tunnel projects. All three roles require experienced, credentialed professionals who can operate independently in active roadway and bridge construction environments, maintain rigorous documentation standards, and represent the project management team in the field. Open Positions Full-time Senior Inspector Resident Representative role on active MTA C&D bridge and tunnel construction projects in New York City. The Senior Inspector is responsible for field presence on behalf of the project management team — responsible for daily contractor oversight, compliance verification, documentation, and coordination with MTA C&D and project stakeholders. Night and weekend availability is required. Required: NICET III in Highway Construction Inspection or equivalent

-Hour certification Asbestos and lead awareness familiarity Availability for night and weekend work Valid driver\'s license Preferred: Prior MTA, TBTA, or MTA C&D bridge and tunnel project experience Familiarity with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and TBTA standards Full-time inspection of highway and transportation infrastructure projects across the NJ/NY metro area. Responsibilities include compliance verification, quality assessments, inspection report preparation, and coordination with project teams and contractors to resolve field issues. Required: NICET III in Transportation Engineering Technology or equivalent Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and standards Excellent report-writing skills Valid driver\'s license Preferred: Civil, transportation, or utility infrastructure experience in NJ/NY Familiarity with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, and TBTA standards ACI, ICC, AWS CWI, or OSHA 30 certifications Lead coating inspection activities on major NYC infrastructure and transportation projects. Responsibilities include surface preparation and blasting inspection, coating application verification, DFT and holiday detection testing, non-conformance documentation, and technical guidance to junior inspectors.
