What You'll Do

• Attend pre-booked appointments with local businesses to demonstrate Flatpay's payment solutions and convert opportunities into customers.
• Generate your own pipeline through referrals, networking and local prospecting.
• Understand each merchant's needs and recommend the most suitable solution.
• Deliver and install payment terminals for new customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
• Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
• Build long-term customer relationships by delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Share customer feedback and market insights with our Sales Development, Marketing and Product teams.

Skills & Traits

• Strong face-to-face communication skills, negotiation techniques, and objection handling abilities.
• Self-starter with perseverance; driven by results.
• Organized and disciplined, maintaining a clear overview of your sales pipeline.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with SDR and Operations teams.
• Valid driver's license and access to your own personal vehicle 5 days a week.
• Experience in B2B field sales, with a track record of consistently meeting (or exceeding) targets.
• Experience selling to SME business owners (experience in the payments industry is a plus, but not required).
• Fluent in local language is required. Fluent in English is a plus.
• Right to work in Japan.
