Position Overview Our Corporate practice is seeking associates with four to five years of post-JD experience in emerging companies and venture financing. The position is in our Palo Alto office. Responsibilities Experience advising clients on business formation, equity financings, mergers and acquisitions Advising emerging companies and startups through all stages of growth and financing. Work closely with venture capital firms on investments and portfolio company matters. Strong drafting and negotiation skills including managing teams on transactions. Demonstrated experience training and mentoring junior associates. Qualifications Juris Doctor Attorney must be licensed to practice law and a member in good standing in the state/jurisdiction in which the position is based. Successful candidates will have strong analytical skills and a willingness to positively contribute to a collaborative work environment.
