The Maintenance Planner III coordinates all routine and non-routine maintenance activities. Identifies resources such as inspection, equipment, and material procurement required to coordinate tasks in a diverse work environment. Demonstrates strong technical/functional skills related to specialized equipment and intricate knowledge of plant equipment, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities / Expectations:
- Coordinates maintenance activities and communicates the schedule to our internal and external customers
- Maintains accurate equipment history and reliability data for equipment
- Drives and influences consistent application and improvement of our processes
- Identifies efficient system operations mode on a real-time basis and causes adjustments to be made as the need arises to achieve optimum state
- Collaborates with others to identify and suggest training needs
- Identifies and communicates standard practices
- Supports budget development and forecasting updates
- Other duties as assigned
Education/Year of Experience:
- Required: High school diploma/GED; a minimum of five (5) years maintenance experience (preferably as a technician, lead or planner), a minimum of two (2) years planning experience, and a minimum of three (3) years experience in the natural gas industry
- Preferred: Vocational/Associates degree in technical field
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrate aptitude and ability to embrace technology and applications to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes
- Coordinates with others to verify duration of maintenance and scope of work to be performed.
- Previous experience developing scope and detailed job plans for preventative and maintenance work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Maximo Power User Training completed.
- Strong skills in Oracle or similar ERP system
- Proficient in Power BI
