What You'll Do:

• Supervise and lead activities in the sterile processing department
• Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
• Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and reporting of surgical instruments and supplies
• Coordinate resources to meet patient care demands without disruption
• Train and develop staff, motivating team members toward departmental goals
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing sterile processing
• Perform routine departmental tasks, including inventory management and equipment maintenance
• Adapt communication and procedures to meet patient and staff needs within a healthcare setting

What You Need:

• Required: Valid certification in sterile processing or surgical technology (CRCST, CSPDT, CST preferred)
• Required: 3+ years of experience in healthcare environments with leadership duties
• Key Skills: Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency in computer software and inventory systems
• Preferred: Experience as a scrub tech or surgical technologist in a hospital setting
