Key Responsibilities\n

• Build and maintain a positive, trusting rapport with patients through empathetic communication and active listening.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose and treat mental health disorders, focusing on the relational dynamics present within couples and families.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs, taking into account their backgrounds, circumstances, and specific challenges.

• Perform continuous evaluations of patient progress and modify treatment strategies based on outcomes and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals struggling with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work closely with couples and families to address relational conflicts and promote healthier communication patterns. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid LMFT license in the state of Pennsylvania.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health counseling with a focus on family and relational therapy.

• Proficiency in using telehealth technology, including virtual counseling platforms and electronic health record systems.

• Strong knowledge and application of trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices.

• Exceptional communication skills, exhibiting both empathy and active listening capabilities to foster a therapeutic alliance.

• Ability to work independently while participating in a virtual team environment aimed at mutual collaboration and support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
