Insurance Coordinator

Title: Insurance Coordinator Location: Triangle Implant Center – Mebane, NC Job Summary: As an Insurance Coordinator, you will manage insurance claims and ensure accurate, timely processing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental billing, coding, and insurance policies (including Medicaid and NC Tracks) while providing excellent support to patients and clinical/administrative teams. Responsibilities Verify patients’ dental insurance coverage and benefits Communicate with insurance companies to obtain pre‑authorizations for treatments Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and estimated costs Submit accurate and timely insurance claims electronically and via mail Follow up on outstanding insurance claims, appeals, and denials Manage insurance claims efficiently, ensuring timely submission and follow‑up Resolve discrepancies or issues related to claims with providers, patients, and insurance companies Maintain organized files and records of all insurance‑related documents Stay updated on changes in Medicaid regulations and insurance policies Collaborate with front desk and clinical teams to ensure accurate patient information and treatment codes Provide excellent customer service by addressing insurance‑related inquiries and concerns Educate patients on available payment options for uncovered services Provide clerical support as needed Facilitate other office responsibilities as required Background Previous experience in dental insurance, billing, or coding preferred Proven experience in insurance claims processing (Medicaid and NC Tracks) highly valued High school diploma or equivalent required Familiarity with dental practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently Knowledge of dental documentation requirements and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail‑oriented with accurate recordkeeping Problem‑solving skills for claim discrepancies and denials Professional, patient‑centric attitude with commitment to customer service Why Join Our Team A career with us offers the opportunity to collaborate with specialists, office managers, patient care coordinators, and more to enhance patient care experiences and clinical outcomes.
