Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Program & Project Management Intern to be based in Austin, Texas .

This position is expected to begin in May 2027.

Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.
• Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Architecture, Project Management or Engineering, or a related discipline and must have completed at least one year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with a master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.
• Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Communications skills and willingness to learn diverse tasks.
• Familiar with MS Office 2010 software (Excel, Word, Project).

Additional Information

• Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $18 to $25.
