Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United StatesCompany: Planet PharmaPosted: 2026-09-20Medical Information Associate Director – Content DevelopmentJob DescriptionPurpose of the roleA biotechnology company developing innovative treatments for diseases with high unmet needs and is committed to timely and accurate communication of information to all relevant stakeholdersThe Associate Director will help lead the content development efforts for the Medical Affairs function ensuring that the slide decks for external use are aligned to the strategic messaging and help communicate impactful and accurate information in a timely manner to healthcare professionals, clinical sites and other healthcare organizations. This position will report to Senior Director, Medical InformationRoles and ResponsibilitiesLead the development of global slide decks for external use based on strategic direction provided by Indication Leads to ensure that the slides decks meet regional needsDesign and co-create scientifically rigorous and impactful global slide decks for healthcare providers, and decision-makers, including digital assets that are scientifically accurate, fair balanced and that meets customer needs, while utilizing expertise of other functionsLeads the digital innovation of slide deck development, access, and delivery including enhanced scientific engagement via remote channelsIncorporate insights into medical resource development and ensure alignment with Medical strategy.Ensure the highest degree of quality and medical accuracy for all outputs developed while leveraging customer feedback to continuously enhance the quality of medical content.Develop and maintain slide deck templates, including style guides while managing vendors to help with the content creation needed.Develop and maintain a central repository for slide decksComplete all work in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and policiesAssists in the reporting of key metrics on business process to monitor the usage of slide decks by all regionsIn partnership with Indication leads, regional content creation leads, develop project timelines and ensure on-time delivery of resources; effectively communicate project timelines and project status to stakeholders.Liaise with publications and clinical development groups to develop and maintain timely and relevant product expertiseExhibits broad knowledge of assigned therapeutics areas, product labelling and regulatory guidanceServes as medial affairs liaison to cross-functional groups for the incorporation of current medical/scientific information into department documents and processes.Contribute to annual content planning cycles and support the development of global training projects and initiatives.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIESAble to effectively network and partner with internal and external stakeholders and embrace cross-functional workingStrong operational capabilities, eye for detail and commitment to advance and adhere to processesAble to search the published medical literature, evaluate published scientific information and create balanced and informative responsesUnderstand and demonstrate the importance of providing superior customer service to all clients to support the businessExcellent communication skills: verbal, written and when giving presentationsAble to thrive as part of a team and when working independentlyProven track record of delivering results that meet or exceed targeted objectivesDetailed understanding of industry regulations and practices relating to medical affairs.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s Degree in related field or healthcare qualification e.g. RN, RPh, PharmD3+ years industry experience, working with medical information creating slide decks for field teamsExperience working with content creation vendors and directing content developmentExperience in componentized content creation is preferredExperience in content management systems similar to Veeva Vault is preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
