Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Surgery - General/Other in Kearney, NE

Doctor of Medicine | Surgery - General/Other Location: Kearney, NE Employer: SalviaCore Solutions Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Responsibilities Perform Cardiovascular and Thoracic surgical procedures, including CABG and valve cases. Provide thoracic surgical coverage for a high-volume Level II trauma center. Manage patient admissions and rounding within the cardiovascular service line. Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and order entry. Maintain 24-hour call availability as the primary CT surgeon on record. Qualifications & Credentialing Board Certification: Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery is required. Licensure: A Nebraska state license is highly preferred; however, candidates with an active IMLC will be accepted. Certifications: Current ACLS, BLS, and an active DEA are required. Professional Background: A clean malpractice history is highly preferred. Mandatory Reporting: A Self-Query NPDB report must be provided at the time of presentation and must be dated within 30 days. Availability: Detailed availability must be confirmed at the time of name clear. Experience: Must have proficiency in both cardiac and thoracic surgical cases. What We Offer Daily Call Rate: $4,650-$5,000 per 24 hours (includes 4 hours gratis). 24-Hour Holiday Call Rate: $6,975-$7,500 per 24 hours (includes 4 hours gratis). Call Back Rate: $500-$550 per hour of patient contact after gratis hours. Holiday Call Back Rate: $750-$825 per holiday hour of patient contact after gratis hours. Orientation Reimbursement: $250-$275 per hour for training beyond the initial 8 hours. Comprehensive malpractice coverage included in the rate. Coordinated travel and lodging arrangements through preferred local hotels.
