Locum - Physician - Surgery - Cardiovascular Summary

Join our dedicated team as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at a 268-bed regional referral center located in the heart of Kearney, Nebraska. This facility serves as a Level 2 trauma center, providing comprehensive care in a supportive environment. We are looking for a skilled surgeon to help with hospital coverage, ensuring top-tier surgical services in our community.

Job Responsibilities

Provide 24-hour CT surgery coverage.

Perform CABG (coronary artery bypass graft) surgeries and valve cases.

Manage Thoracic cases as part of Level 2 trauma center responsibilities.

Coordinate with medical staff and assist in patient admissions.

Participate in on-call duties as scheduled.

Qualifications

Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery (Required).

Active State License (Highly Preferred, will accept IMLC).

Current ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications (Required).

Clean malpractice history (Highly Preferred).

Availability at the time of name clear (Required).

Mandatory Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (Required).

License and Certification Requirements

Board Certification in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery.

State License (preferred, IMLC accepted).

ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications.

Self-Query NPDB report.
