Medical BillerWe are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding systems to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services.Responsibilities:Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errorsPrepare and submit claims to insurance companiesFollow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframeUtilize medical billing software to process claimsCommunicate with insurance companies to resolve claim denials or appealsMaintain patient billing records and update as necessaryStay current on insurance guidelines, regulations, and industry changesQualifications:Proficiency in ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG coding systemsKnowledge of medical terminology and proceduresExperience in medical billing and collectionsFamiliarity with electronic medical records system ATHENAStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in a medical office setting is preferredJob Types: Full-time Employee or ContractPay: $40,000 to $55,000 SalarySchedule:8 hour shift (9:00AM - 5:00PM)Day shiftMonday to FridayExperience:ICD-10: 3 years (Required)Ability to Commute:Cleveland, OH 44120 (Required)Ability to Relocate:Cleveland, OH 44120: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
