Responsibilities
As a Sales Lead at Carbon Performance Gym, you will play a key role in driving membership sales, developing the sales team, and growing the gym’s presence within the local community. The Sales Lead will serve as a leader and resource for the Sales Consultants while remaining actively involved in generating leads and closing memberships.

Sales Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and support Sales Consultants to help them consistently achieve and exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Train new and existing Sales Consultants on sales processes, membership options, lead follow-up, tours, closing techniques, and customer service.
• Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to help team members identify areas for improvement and increase their sales performance.
• Monitor sales activity, follow-up, lead conversion, and individual performance to help the team stay on track toward goals.
• Lead by example by maintaining a strong personal sales performance and demonstrating effective sales and customer service techniques.
• Help create a positive, motivated, and accountable sales culture within the gym.
• Assist management with identifying training opportunities and developing strategies to improve overall sales performance.

Membership Sales

• Actively sell Carbon Performance Gym memberships and personal training/services while helping prospective members find the best membership option for their needs.
• Conduct engaging gym tours and consultations that showcase the value of Carbon Performance Gym.
• Follow up consistently with prospective members through calls, texts, emails, and other appropriate communication.
• Work toward and help establish monthly and quarterly sales goals for the sales team.
• Help identify opportunities to improve the member conversion process and increase overall membership revenue.

Lead Generation & Community Outreach

• Take an active role in generating new leads and membership opportunities for the gym.
• Network within the local community to build relationships and create new sources of leads.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses, apartment communities, schools, organizations, events, and other community groups to generate new membership opportunities.
• Identify and pursue creative opportunities for community outreach, promotions, events, and referral partnerships.
• Represent Carbon Performance Gym professionally at community events and networking opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organizations that can help drive new members to the gym.
• Work with management to develop and execute lead-generation initiatives and community partnerships.

Member Engagement & Customer Experience

• Welcome members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Address member questions, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• Help create a positive experience for prospective and current members throughout their interactions with the gym.
• Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming gym environment.

Facility & Daily Operations

• Perform regular rounds of the gym to ensure the facility is clean, organized, and operating properly.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the gym floor, equipment, and common areas.
• Assist with cafe operations as needed, including serving members, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean cafe environment.
• Support daily gym operations and other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, fitness, hospitality, or a related field.
• Previous leadership, coaching, or team development experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently generate and close sales.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to coach and motivate others while holding team members accountable.
• Strong networking and community relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable approaching businesses, organizations, and community groups to develop partnerships and generate leads.
• Passion for health, fitness, sales, and helping others achieve their goals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer software, CRM systems, and sales tracking tools.
