I opened my agency in 2007 and lead a well-established team of six. Before becoming an agent, I worked with State Farm in claims, which gave me a strong foundation in understanding policies, problem-solving, and delivering excellent customer care. I attended a local university and later went on to Touro Law School, bringing a detail-oriented and thoughtful approach to how we serve our customers and support our team. Our office is located in a charming, walkable village area, and the environment is pleasant, personal, and highly relationship-driven. We value face-to-face interactions and have a tenured team that truly enjoys working together and being part of the community we serve. For our team, we offer PTO, a Simple IRA, health benefits, and licensing reimbursement. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Account Associate for our agency, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers success. This is a sales and customer service position. If you are Outgoing, Honest, Hardworking, and Dependable.... then we would like to speak with you. The ideal candidate has their insurance license(s) in good standing and is comfortable selling and servicing customer accounts, and they work well as part of a team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
- Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
- Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
- Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
