Payroll Benefits Specialist

Our client, a growing multi-site manufacturing organization, is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join its Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of payroll and benefits while partnering closely with HR leadership to improve processes and support a growing business. This is more than a transactional payroll position—this role offers the opportunity to become a trusted resource for payroll, benefits, HR systems, and compliance. Responsibilities Process multi-state payroll across multiple payroll cycles Administer employee benefits and support annual open enrollment Serve as a primary resource for payroll and benefits questions Maintain HRIS and payroll system data integrity Ensure payroll and benefits compliance with federal and state regulations Partner with HR leadership on reporting, audits, and process improvements Collaborate with local HR teams across multiple locations Qualifications 5+ years of payroll and/or benefits administration experience Multi-state payroll experience required Knowledge of payroll tax and employment compliance Experience with HRIS/payroll systems Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who: Takes ownership rather than waiting for direction Enjoys solving problems and improving processes Thrives in a collaborative team environment Is approachable, service-oriented, and customer focused Wants to continue growing professionally #J-18808-Ljbffr
