Responsibilities
- Assist a licensed Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Guide and monitor therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and range-of-motion programs as directed
- Support safe transfers, positioning, and functional activities; ensure patient safety during mobility tasks
- Observe and document patient progress, response to therapy, and any changes in status; communicate with the supervising PT and care team
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in charting systems and follow facility policies and HIPAA guidelines
- Apply modalities and equipment per approved protocols; uphold infection control and equipment safety standards

Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing environment
- Willingness to commit to a 14-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with PTs and nursing staff
- Competence in basic charting and documentation procedures
- Flexibility to adhere to the assigned shift hours and site policies
