Direct financial strategy, planning and forecasts; conferring with CEO, COO and the leadership team. Analyze and interpret financial data and recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile. Ensure the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements regarding finances, tax filings and reporting. Establish, maintain, and continuously improve internal accounting controls and financial policies to safeguard assets and ensure accuracy, transparency, and accountability across all entities. Implement operational best practices and oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. CMA or CPA certification required. Proven experience as a Financial leader in a non-profit organization. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures. Experience with creating financial statements and financial analysis. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
