As a Security Guard Full Time - Call Center in North Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Bring a caring, reliable approach while working collaboratively with site personnel and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and promptly communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific access control procedures.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced technology and telecommunications environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
