Job Summary:

Join the Archway Management team, at the Sapphire at Northwoods healthcare organization in Belvidere, IL, as our Food Service Director (Healthcare). As a crucial member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will lead the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring exceptional patient care through a comprehensive food service program. Food Service Director (Healthcare) is a hands-on, full-time position that requires a passion for providing top-notch nutrition and hospitality services to our patients, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including meal planning, food production, and service delivery

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet patient needs and preferences

• Manage a team of food service staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and OSHA, as well as company policies and procedures

• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and supplies

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and overall food service experience

Requirements:
