Manufacturing Welder 2

This position is responsible for performing moderate manufacturing weld fabrications of various products and components. The MFG Welder 2 demonstrates proficiency as a welder in the following established procedures and guidelines; understanding drawings and blueprints, adhere to the standard procedures in the use of equipment when setting up parts, tack welding, stitch welding, and seal welding. Able to work independently or as a member of a team to provide welding services that satisfy customer needs and achieve departmental goals. The hours for this position are Friday Sunday 5am 5:30pm. Mid-level position Generally has two to four years of experience and/or demonstrated job relevant knowledge/skills and obtained or currently obtaining welding certifications in the GMAW and FCAW welding process in the 1-3 G/F positions. The MFG Welder 2 has moderate knowledge of standard and technical concepts, practices, and procedures in multiple manufacturing areas; is indirectly supervised and self-starting. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.
