Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a crucial role providing specialized care for patients in a fast-paced stepdown environment. As an RN supporting a 20-bed inpatient overflow unit, you’ll use your telemetry skills and progressive care expertise to monitor patients who require close observation and short-stay management. This position features direct collaboration with a dedicated team, working together to deliver compassionate and patient-centered care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Every other weekend required
• No on-call shifts

Role Requirements:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Demonstrated telemetry competency
• Progressive care experience essential
• Recent experience in progressive or stepdown care setting strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on nursing care to a diverse population of medical-surgical and stepdown patients
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status utilizing telemetry and bedside monitoring equipment
• Participate in daily patient care activities, including admissions, discharges, and ongoing assessments
• Collaborate with charge RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Float to other units within the facility as needed
• Maintain compliance with all protocols, policies, and infection-prevention guidelines
• Wear prescribed navy or white scrub attire
