Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 23 step down, 16 med surg
Number of Staff:
Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, 4 PCTs
Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, 4 PCTs
Patient Ratios: 1:3-4 step down, 1:4-6 med surg
Type of Equipment: Lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable vented patients, trachs
EMR: Cerner


Typical procedures performed on unit:
Trach care
Chest tube management
Wound dressing changes


Best Personality Fit:
Flexibility and high level of clinical competence


Preferred or Nice to Have:
Previous experience with Cerner


Floating Area(s): Other med surg and progressive care units
Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy blue
Weekends: 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period
Position Creation Reason: Contractor Replacement
