Job Description
Job Title: ICU RN

Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS Certifications


Must-Have:
Trauma ICU experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
Surgical ICU experience
Advanced skills in team collaboration, positive attitude, and flexibility


Description:
This position is within a 20-bed Intensive Care Unit.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:2.
Staffing includes multiple RNs, a supervisor, a patient care tech, and a health unit coordinator.
Required equipment includes EVDs, infusion pumps, and ventilators.
Documentation is performed using the Cerner Power Chart system.
Scheduling requires six weekend shifts within a six-week timeframe.
Travelers may float to other ICUs or Step Down units before core staff.
Seeking candidates with capabilities in advanced procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, and central line placements.
Candidates should be well-versed in administering medications and CRRT/HD.
Dress code includes navy or white scrubs.
