Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds – 38 Number of Staff – see below Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge RN, 6-7 RNs, 1 LPN, 3 PCTs, 1 unit secretary Night Shift – 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, 1 LPN, 2-3 PCTs, HUC for part of the shift Patient Ratios – 6:1, Goal is for charge nurse to be out of staffing to assist. Night stretch ratios is 7:1. Type of equipment – Baxter IV pumps, Wound vacs, SCDS, prima-fits, primo-fits EMR – Cerner Powerchart

Floating Area(s): Other medical surgical units, ED holding medical/surgical patients. Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire – all navy, all white, or white top and navy pants, navy or white undershirts if needed. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Travelers float before permanent staff. Weekends and On call (if any) Weekends: every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule.
